Ballet Classes for Children in Wimbledon

Under the tuition of Karina Avetisyan RAD RTS, with over 20 years of experience with National Armenian Ballet.

Our Ballet Classes promote discipline, body awareness, and flexibility. Through precise movements and routines, children develop motor skills, balance, and coordination. The structured nature of ballet classes encourages focus and perseverance, qualities that extend beyond the dance studio. In our Ballet classes for children creative variations are combined with technique, posture exercises and great music.

Children joining our ballet classes will need a full Royal Academy of Dance uniform, including shoes, skirt, tights & leotard. The uniform can be purchased at our reception prior to the start or online.

Reception/Primary Ballet Classes for Children 4-5 years old

Fun based class, full of very basic elements of classical ballet & general co-ordination exercises, lots of games and imagination development.

Improvers Ballet Class 5-6 years old

This classed is focused on the basics of ballet. Children will work on improving their posture and co-ordination, whilst also developing artistic skills as individual dancers and part of a group.

Ballet Aspirations Class 8-10 years old

This is a 45min class for 8-9 year olds with elements of Grade 1 and Grade 2 Dance Syllabus, in order to create foundation for Graded Qualifications in the future.
Together with mastering simple elements of technique, this class is aimed at posture improvement, building muscle tone, body awareness and balance.
Students are expected to have completed a minimum of 2 years of Pre-Primary and Grade 1 training.

Grade 3 Ballet Class 10-12 years old

Advanced Class for Young Graces, aimed at technical development and creative movement.
A minimum of 2 years ballet experience required. Saturdays 11.00 – 11.45 am
Subscription by interview.
